On 2 May 2024, as the developer of Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (RGPPSEZ), we were greatly honored to attend the Grand Opening Ceremony of Toyota Tsusho Manufacturing (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., presided over by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN MANET Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, honorably participated by H.E. UENO Atsushi, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia, as well as many high-ranking government officials and business partners related to the company.

After signing the Built-To-Suit Rental Factory Agreement with our company on 8 August 2022, this company received the Investment Registration Certificate from the Council for the Development of Cambodia on 01 September 2022, and will officially start to assemble 2 models of Toyota vehicles for the local market. 

Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN MANET Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in his speech to inaugurate the assembly plant, mentioned that this investment of Toyota will be one factor to help attract more investment projects from Japan, and hopefully more small and medium sized manufacturers in Cambodia will benefit from this investment as well by supplying some parts, and that even manufacturing cushions or seatbelts can help boost the country’s productivity.

We are more than proud to have witnessed this auspicious ceremony. We feel even more energized to try harder to serve our customers. And we know that our effort will contribute more and more to the country’s industrialization and economic development through technologies transfer and jobs creation.
