In the morning of April 28th, 2018, Phnom Penh SEZ Plc. was honored to witness the Grand Opening Ceremony of WINSUN (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD., a new Taiwan company producing diapers and pull-ups which we are proud and delighted to have in our zone.

The opening ceremony of this new company was celebrated under the presidency of H.E. CHEA VUTHY represented by Mr. NEANG PUTHEARA from Council for the Development of Cambodia; Officials from Phnom Penh SEZ Administration Office (One Stop Service Center); Mr. TERRY C.R.TAI, President & Chairman of WINSUN (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD.; and several other eminent guests. All the attendees got entertained with the performances of traditional Khmer dance and Chinese lion dance and drum performances.

According to the speech delivered by Mr. TERRY C.R.TAI, President & Chairman of WINSUN (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD., The company has been known as the top-3 largest disposable personal hygiene industry in Vietnam, including products of baby/adult diapers, pull-ups, sanitary napkins and wet wipes and so on. With its products exported to more than 20 countries around the world, over 500 million pieces of related products supplied for each year, and millions of consumers being served every day, including the infants, the elderly and women.

In the land of around 40,000 square meters in Phnom Penh SEZ, the company plans to invest total of 22 million USD in two phases within 5 years. In the first phase, 12 million USD will be invested with two high speed automatic production lines of baby pull-ups and one line of sanitary napkin, and it is expected to reach an annual production value of 30 million USD. It is estimated that the second phase of project will be 10 million USD invested in 2023. Three lines of advanced equipment will be expanded, and the annual output value will achieve over 60 million USD.

With the products to serve for the growing demand of infant market in Cambodia, the company will also successively employ hundreds of talented workers in various fields to conduct professional training both locally and abroad, and offer appreciable benefits and better working environment as well as developing opportunities.
